About capturing ideas and creating a simple Project Bank
The Challenge
Many motion designers face the challenge of turning their creative ideas into completed projects. They often lack structure, feedback, and the real-world project experience needed to grow their careers. This workshop solves that problem by providing a step-by-step process for creating a personal project, while also giving you actionable feedback and a solid foundation in project management skills.
By the end of this workshop, you'll have a completed project to showcase in your portfolio, a clear project workflow you can use for future work, and personalized feedback to help you grow as a designer.
How will it be?
Access to the Notion page with content about:
Capturing project ideas
What projects to focus on
How to organize
How to estimate project extension
How to start an exercise
How to reflect and iterate on projects
How to Incorporate feedback
How to present a finished project
1st Introductory session to guide you through the content
Guidance on what project to tackle.
Community, follow-ups and feedback via Slack.
1st Group Follow-up (addressing common questions).
More feedback on your project via Slack.
2nd Group Follow-up (addressing common questions).
After week 4, you will have 2 more weeks to submit final submissions (in order to receive feedback).
What to expect?
The main value of the workshop -I think- is the process, the feedback and that you come up the other way with a personal project in your hands (or well, better said, your hard drive).
It’s tailored to help you find, organize and work on your next personal project.
What not to expect?
A course based on a technical aspect of motion.
Even when I might point out to different type of exercises or techniques, the pre-recorded content is not a tutorial or a walk-through of a technique in After Effects.
